Welcome to Sustainability Week 2023!

A week dedicated to sharing insights and initiatives on how companies engineer for a sustainable future. 

Between February 6th - 10th, EWB-SWE´s Sustainability Week is back for its third edition and features Sandvik, Vattenfall and Kiwa. During lunch lectures arranged by our local groups at Chalmers University, KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Luleå University, participants will dive into how the companies take initiatives in environmental and social sustainability.

Our events are open for everyone to join, learn from and get inspired by! You are welcome to join on campuses or online as the lunch lectures will be live streamed.

Consulting services on sustainability - a multidisciplinary and integrated approach with Mikael Lorentzon, Manager, Kiwa Technical Consulting

From a niche market for a limited number of companies, sustainability consulting has been on the rise for the last decade as sustainability is taking a center stage in corporate strategies. But how consultancy services work with sustainability? Join Mikael Lorentzon, Manager at Kiwa Technical Consulting to get insight on what sustainability means for Kiwa as an organization and how their consulting services apply their expertise and knowledge to support organizations in this journey. The presentation will also focus on concrete examples of life extension of typical buildings and process systems.

It’s the singular goal pursued by this organization and the mindset that drives everything the company does. But how does it look inside the hood and relate to all of us? Join Björn Bolund, senior R&D engineer at Vattenfall to learn more about how it looks today and what is done to help in the transition away from carbon emissions. You will also get a chance to learn more about the interesting initiatives Vattenfall is driving, giving an insight into the rewarding nature of working with biodiversity.
