Engineers Without Borders Sweden is hosting a Missing Maps Mapathon on May 14. Our aim is assist local and international NGOs, as well as grassroots organizations, in navigating some of the world’s most hard-to-reach places. By mapping out remote locations or reimagining lost infrastructure, we help ensure that aid organisations can get to where their help is needed the most.

We invite you to participate in our digital mapathon on May 14 —an exciting and meaningful evening where you can make a direct impact on humanitarian efforts using just three simple tech tools: a click, a hashtag, and a satellite image!

During 1,5 hours participants will receive a brief training on how to work with the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team - an open, free and crowd-sourced platform - and then take part in a practical mapping session remotely tracing satellite imagery of buildings, roads and more. You can participate from anywhere where there is a wifi connection.
